Lillian Callon Obituary

(nee Paulusma) On the 13th day of May, 2024, Lillian (Lil) went to be with her heavenly father. Survived by her husband and best friend Michael, loving children Dean (Jane), Michele, Tracy (Richard), and seven grandchildren Cacia, Callon (Paige), Kama (Bruce), Sullivan (Hayley), Amelia, Enya (Iuri), and Katie. Also survived by her siblings Laura, Martha, Joanne, Beverly, Elizabeth, Kenneth, Edward, and Judi. Predeceased by parents John and Betty Paulusma and brother Martin. Lil was an avid golfer. She and Michael belonged to the Ingersoll Golf Club for a number of years where she proudly achieved a hole in one. Lil had a beautiful voice and a love for singing (and a good harmony) which was passed down to her family through many sing-a-longs around the kitchen table. Lil enjoyed her years as a member of the London Chapter of Sweet Adelines. Other passions included cooking and baking where she took joy in cooking all of the family favourites. Her shortbreads were always anticipated, and her family is grateful that her memory lives on in her recipe. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 12-1 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1997 Dundas Street East, London with a Service in our chapel starting at 1 pm. Cremation has taken place. If wished, donations may be made to St. Joseph's Hospice. Online condolences and livestreaming services can be found on our website.

To my gam,
I will never forget the sound of your voice singing me lullabies, or the sound of your laughter when I failed to help you with the Sunday crossword. I never told you I got a tattoo for you - I know you hate them - but I think of you whenever I see the bluejay on my leg.
Love you forever and always,
Cacia

P.S. You have impeccable fashion sense. We've been going through old photos and you. Are. SERVING.
