Lonnie CECHINI Obituary
Long-time North Vancouver resident, Lonnie Cechini, left us on November 23rd at age 93. She was a beloved wife to Louis for 55 years, loving mother to Liz (Terry), Lynn, and Dave (Mo); and devoted Baba to Tyson and Chloe. Many people who met Lonnie would mention her sense of elegance and serenity. Her warmth and smile will be missed. A private funeral will be held. In lieu of flowers, if desired, a donation may be made to The Alzheimer Society of Canada.

We only met Bill a couple of times. He was a very engaging and friendly man. However we heard a lot of wonderful stories about him over the years from his family. He was well loved by those fortunate enough to know him and he will be greatly missed by many.

Bill Weir, our father, father-in-law and grandfather, was a constant, caring and inspirational presence in our lives. He was always welcoming and happy to see friends and family alike. Over the years he thoughtfully listened, and when asked, provided sound, helpful and nonjudgemental advice. He remained relevant by staying engaged and interested in world and local events as well as the lives and interests of his family. Some of his enduring contributions as a civil engineer include the Alex Fraser, Port Mann and Confederation bridges. He enjoyed walking, reading, puzzles and a 5 o'clock G & T.
He was loved by us all and will be greatly missed.
