She was employed at McGill & Orme Pharmacy at various locations for over twenty years and enjoyed working with co-workers and customers alike. I am so very sorry to hear of Aileen's passing. I worked alongside Aileen for a few years at McGill & Orme on Cook and View St. We became fast friends even though I was/am 26 years younger. We enjoyed a couple of daytime trips over to Vancouver to see Live shows, which we enjoyed so much and I still cherish those times, along with going out for lunch or dinner the odd time. I'll never forget her extensive Teddy Bear collection she proudly showed me while visiting her at her & Harry's home. She loved her kids (Daughter In Law Kari too!) so much and was so proud of them all. Unfortunately we lost connection after leaving McGill & Orme and I moved away in later years. I did see Aileen with her Son Roy in the Calgary Airport a few years ago - unfortunately I was passed security and couldn't run outside of security to say hello - to this day I wish I had been able to chat with her. I am so sorry to hear of Harry's passing a few years ago as well but now Aileen and Harry are together once again and I'm sure they are watching over their wonderful family and beaming with joy. Sincere condolences to her family - she was such a down-to-earth, sincere lady and such a fun and lively co-worker and friend. RIP Aileen, I'll never forget our friendship.

Everyone remembers mom in different ways. The reason for that is she was many things. She was my mom, a wife, big sister to Marilyn, Grandmother, and Great grandmother. She was also a caring pharmacist assistant who cared about her clients. Mom loved engaging with all children until she could no more. I remember mom as very supportive and a provider, who was always there if things were on or off the rails. Mom did not have alot growing up and that grew into an appreciation of everything around her. Her love of music was there to the end. Illness eventually erased much of herself, but the love of music always remained. I will keep those memories for you mom. Your son Roy
