Joyce Vaughan Obituary

Joyce passed peacefully from this life to her eternal home with Jesus Christ her Lord. Her sons accompanied her passage with tears, prayers, and love. She lived her life dedicated to Bob her husband, of 64 years, her family and in service to others. Joyce was predeceased by her husband Bob, daughter Heather, sister-in-law Marge, parents Ross and Doris, and is survived by her sons Steve (Peg), Greg (Ingrid), five grandchildren (Candace Shortreid, Chelsea Vaughan, Brandon Vaughan, Bethany Kanhoffen, Kelsey Kanhoffen) and four great-grandchildren, (Caleb, Aaron, Nathan Shortreid, and Evelyn Vaughan). For the loving care Joyce received, the family thanks Dr. Ibrahim and the staff at Cowichan District Hospital. A memorial service will be held on January 25 at 1:30 pm at Shawnigan Alliance Church, 1603 Wilmot Ave, Shawnigan Lake B.C. V8H 3C1, with a reception to follow.
