Ronald Desharnais Obituary

DESHARNAIS, Ronald
Suddenly and without warning Ron collapsed with severe chest pain. He was sent by helicopter to the RJH in Victoria for a long and extensive repair to a dissecting aorta. He passed away five days later with all of his family surrounding him.
The loss of this gentle, humorous and caring husband, father and grandfather has left a painful emptiness in our hearts.
Ron is survived by his wife of 59 years Valerie, and leaves his daughter Michelle (Thomas), son Raun (Susan), grandsons Connor (Kiko), Grayson and granddaughter Gabrielle; his sister Marie Dame and nieces Linda Dame and Joyce Pittman.
Ron's happiest days were the winters in Melaque, Mx and the family summers at their cabin at Horne Lake.
He was never without Rex, Sophie or Charley walking beside him.
We miss you so very much!

I first met Ron in early fall of 1961 when we joined the RCAF, taking the oath on all saints day 1 Nov61. We were on the same 404 sqn crew for a few years. His artistic abilities were foremost when our crew was nominated to provide the setting for sqn parties. He designed mural scenes that surpassed all expectations and brought great honour to our crew. He was always most professional in work and art! I have many good memories. He is sadly missed!

How blessed I was to have known this great man.

We spent many an hour together discussing the deeper things of life.

His wisdom was so important to me.

I philosopher and a lover of nature, and above all, I love her of his two children, Michelle And raun.

I will miss the rich conversations we had together

But now that he is in heaven, I can pray to him for the wisdom, he imported to me on this earth.

See you in a few years, Raun.

All my agape love

Robert o´connor.
