Latrelle Lawrence Death Notices

Latrelle Lawrence, 87, of Homer, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024.
Born on May 23, 1937, in Baldwin, she was a daughter of the late James Bush Lawrence and Dora Belle Ausburn Lawrence. Latrelle worked with Hill Haven Nursing Home for some time. In her spare time, she enjoyed landscaping her yard, gardening, and especially spending time with her family. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John Wesley Galloway; daughter, Shelly Faye Galloway; brothers, Johnny, James, Howard "Gary," Larry "Pete," Clyde "Dock," and Wayne Lawrence, and Rudolph Ausburn; sisters, Isabelle Lawrence Gosnell and Ruby Carter.
Survivors include daughter, Colista Kaye Galloway, of Homer; son, Barry Milton Galloway, of Colbert; grandchildren, Brittney Barrett, Casey Galloway, Kyle Galloway, and Brianna Galloway; great-grandchildren, Braxton Barrett, Bryson Casper, and Ella Galloway; sisters-in-law, Lynn Lawrence and Annette Wall; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorial services are 2 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2024, in the chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with Rev. Kenneth McEntire officiating.
