Celia REED Obituary

REED, Celia Elizabeth. On February 19, 2024, passed away peacefully at Burlington Village, Christchurch, aged 83 years. Loved sister and sister-in-law of the late Rob and Moira, Jane and Oliver (Canada), Simon and Bre, Lucy and Ian, Nick and Daphne, Will (deceased) and Nicki, and loved and respected by many. A huge thanks to the staff at Burlington, and to Jo and Jill (both of Katikati), for their dedication and support. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Celia Reed, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A Memorial Service will be held in Katikati at a later date.

We are sailing friends. We spent aboout 5 months in the Bay of Islands in 1979 &'80 on our boat but spending lots of time with Celia and the other boaters. Richard & Elizabeth visited us in Seattle. We visited their Station and met Simon, Bree and the girls. We have many wonderful memories of Celia, others of the Reed family and New Zealand.
