Carol Elizabeth Maitland:
Suddenly and unexpectedly at Wellington Hospital on 3rd November 2022, surrounded by family and friends. Dearly loved and cherished mother of Meg, beloved sister of Madeleine and Phil, Mark and Nic, Susan and Guy. Loved and treasured aunty of all her nieces and nephews.
Our hearts are broken right now, but we will forever cherish the precious memories we have of Carol.
A service for Carol will be held at Old St Paul's, Mulgrave Street, Pipitea, Wellington, on Wednesday, 9th November 2022 at 2.00pm.

Dear Meg
I´m so sorry darling to hear of your beautiful mums passing
I lost my father suddenly at your age also and it was such a shock and so unbelievably sad, I understand what you are feeling.
I know that you have an amazing family and friends to support you and look after you.
I send you so much Love and my Deepest Condolences and I will miss your mum and our chats.

Dear Meg I am so sorry to hear of Carols passing we first met at Ngaio school in 1969 both of us new to the school midterm outsiders and then nearly 50 years later she came to Woodward Dental and I recognised her instantly Carol hadn't changed a bit with her gravelly voice and humour.Funny how we age but stay the same My thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time know that she is with you and watching over you always .regards Kathe Inglis

I didn´t know Carol well but she touched my heart when I met her, she did some work for my relocation company. She was a truely lovely person, her loss is such a tragedy

I was very sad to hear of Carol's death. She was far too young to die. I knew her as an able and confident person and always felt she was an asset in the bridge club. My sympathy goes to her family and friends.

Our thoughts are with you. It´s such a shock and unbelievable Carol is no longer here. Carol was so supportive and understanding to us and always tried to find resolution.
