On June 7, 2022 at Te Omanga Hospice, Lower Hutt, after a long battle with cancer; aged 73 years. Beloved husband of Lyn. Dad of Stacey, Aaron, Nerolie, and Jeena; Royce and Jacob. Pop of Eva and Eli. In lieu of flowers, donations to Te Omanga would be appreciated and can be made online at www.teomanga.org.nz or left at the service. A service for Richard will be held in Kingswood, Cnr King & Cairo Street, Upper Hutt, on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation. Messages may be sent to "the Baines family", c/- PO Box 30-127, Lower Hutt 5040.

My deepest sympathy to you Lyn and your family, on your sad loss. Richard loved his dancing days at the Cossie Club - he will always be remembered as well as our conversations when we used to see each other out and about.
