EVANS, Donald:
(formerly of Windsor Hotel, Christchurch) On Wednesday, February 8, 2023, peacefully at Nurse Maude Hospice, in Christchurch, aged 78 years. Dearly loved son of Vera and Jim (both deceased), and brother and brother-in-law of Brian (deceased) and Heather. A life-long friend, and trusted partner of Carol and Murray. Adored father figure and confidant to Keri, and Michael, their children and grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by the wider Windsor family and friends, and the New Zealand business community. He touched the lives of many. Heartfelt thanks to the caring teams at Nurse Maude Hospice, and Cancer Care. A Funeral Service for Donald will be held in The Anglican Parish of St Michael and All Angels Church, 95 – 99 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch Central, on Friday, February 17, at 11.00am, followed by a private interment.
