Juliet died suddenly but peacefully, on 13 November 2022 at Wellington Hospital, with her family around her. She was dearly loved by her parents, the late Jack and Lilian Elworthy, her brother John, her sister Jo, and her sister-in-law Elaine. She was a devoted and much-loved aunt to Christopher (Silverstream), Helen and Mick (Spain), Philip (Blenheim), and Richard and Tania (Waipukurau); and a special great aunt of Harry, Charlotte, and Olivia; and Ben, Mathew, and Sarah. Jet's family is grateful for the care she received from the ambulance crew and ICU staff.
