Valerie May (nee Cross):
Passed away peacefully on Friday, May 19, 2023, at Gore Hospital, surrounded by her loving daughters. Dearly loved wife of the late Wilhelmus (Bill) Brocks. Loving and Devoted Mum of Russell, Diane, William, Phillip, and Shona. Loved Nana and Great-Nana to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loved and cherished sister and sister-in-law.
'An amazingly strong woman,
a great life well lived,
a rest well earned'.
In lieu of flowers donations will be gratefully received for the Breast Cancer Foundation. A service to celebrate Valerie's life will be held on Thursday, May 25, at 11.00am, in the James Cumming Community Centre, Ardwick Street, Gore, then leaving for the Charlton Park Cemetery to lay Valerie to rest with Bill. Rest peacefully Val ,will always remember you girls coming up to waimate to strawberry fair , and afterwards at my mum and dads,Barbara and Gerald Nossiter. The laughs learning to play with a few whiskeys on board. The recipes I will cherish. Love to all the family .play hard Val xx
