Connie Ervin Wright, age 74, of Silver Springs, FL (formerly of Somerset) passed away on Friday July 11, 2025 at Advent Health Hospital Ocala. Connie was born on October 19,1950 in Vincennes, IN, the daughter of Ona Franklin Ervin and Lola June Allen Lovin. Connie grew up in Park Forest, IL where you would find her riding her horse, JoJo almost daily. Her love of horses blossomed into her love of art as she began oil paintings of horses, rural scenes, then portraits. As she matured, she developed many talents….. gardening, crocheting, sewing and cooking, to name a few. She had the ability to teach others to enjoy her hobbies and talents as well. Connie loved her dogs. She embraced the role of homemaker. Connie loved Jesus, her church, Salt Life Church in Fort McCoy, Fl, and her Pastor Dave and his wife Tammy. The pastor and his wife Connie's, "missionary friend", Charlie were all a great influence on Connie in her Christian walk. She developed many meaningful relationships through the years.
Connie was blessed with many friends. Most recently Audry and Vern spent much time with her showering her with time and love when Connie needed it most. Betty, Maria, other neighbors and numerous church friends were always there when she needed a hand. Connie had a faithful best friend and relative, Maxine, that she could always call on if she needed anything.
Survivors include her daughter, Charlotte Alimi (Payman) of Jacksonville, FL; her stepdaughter, Amanda Jo Price Payne (Robert) of Eubank; grandchildren, Jesse Jones, Zane Washburn, Elizabeth Williams, Jimmy Hayhurst, Christopher Alimi and Bailey Price; several great grandchildren; three sisters, Christine Oller (Robert) of Lafayette, IN, Candice Solecki (Ken) of Delevan, WI and Valerie Oakley (Chuck) of St. Cloud, FL and daughter-in-law, Heather Mclendon of St. Cloud, FL; her fur babies, Corky and Elvis; extended family members and friends who are saddened by her passing. Connie will be missed by many but her family and friends can rest assured that she is in heaven today.
In addition to her parents, Ona Ervin and Lola Allen Lovin, Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Steven Wright whom she married on April 12, 2019 and he preceded her in death on May 9, 2020; two sons, William Harrison Washburn and Robert Earl Washburn; her son-in-law, Jerry “Jed” Price; mother-in- law and father-in-law, Steven and Fern Wright; two brothers, Dennis Ervin and Daniel Ervin; brother-in-law, Jerry Wright; and three sisters, Carolyn MacMillan, Catherine Ervin and Cherry Brown.

Dear Connie, You will always be remembered as the strong one, the brave one and the persistent one in my family. Connie will be so missed, as she was a person of strong faith with a tremendous amount of love to share with everyone from her family, to her church family, and to her beloved dogs. As she loved, Connie was so loved. May all who grieve be reminded that she will rejoice in heaven with her husband and son.
