David JONES Obituary
Formerly of Nottington Ave, Palmerston North on Thursday 8th June 2023, peacefully at Summerset Rest Home, in
his 85th year. Dearly loved Husband of the late Lorraine. Lorraine and Murray were a much-loved Nana and Pop. Previously Murray was a printer for 43 years for the Evening Standard and was appropriately nicknamed (Inky). Thank you to the Summerset Rest Home staff for their amazing love and care shown to Murray during his long stay, you became his family. A private service and cremation has been held.

Sorry to hear of Murray´s passing. Remember his days running the big press at the Manawatu Standard, with Lorraine busy in the publishing department. An awesome couple. Condolences to the family.

I have fond memories of Murray and also Lorraine working at the Manawatu Standard during some challenging times.
I always appreciated Murray's experience and expertise on the various printing presses we had at the Standard over the years.
