Rest in peace Uncle Don, thinking of you at this sad time Auntie Thelma, Kaye Janine and Bryce

A flood of memories came back to me when I read of the sad passing of Don. He was principal of Featherston School when we moved into town in 1981 and I became the school secretary, working for him over the next five years. Throughout my career I worked for numerous firms and organisations, in NZ and overseas, private companies and government departments, and the job I enjoyed the best was that one in Featherston. You led a great team Don. Thank you for the happy memories. Sincere condolences to Thelma and family.
