To Barbara & Doug and the wider family sorry to hear of the passing of Geoff far to young . In the Makuri days as neighbours being younger than us not sure if he helped dam up the waterfall or came eeling on the little island at the bottom or did all the other fun things we did as Makuri kids . Love to you all .

Geoff
My dearest Geoff - I have been blessed with your presence in my life.
I miss you in everything, our first early morning coffee, our last `good night honey´ in the evenings.
Our extended conversations while you were driving to and from work....
A quiet hour at sunset...
We loved the same food, the same movies and very often said the same thing at exactly the same time and then laughed at ourselves.
If I could show you to the world through my eyes I can only say that your sincerity and kindness had no end and your integrity was impeccable. You put other´s interests above your own and many a time made sacrifices to help and support others and just be there for them. You never expected anything in return.
You accepted each and everyone that crossed your path without judgement just the way they were and made them feel welcome and at home.
You had endless stories to tell and won the hearts of everyone we spent time with.
With your unique sense of humour you made life interesting - truly never a dull moment.
You touched and enriched people´s lives with your perseverance and positivity and genuine kindness - even through your own darkest days.
You were a true gentleman ..... You did not only make me feel loved, you made me feel valued, respected, prioritised, heard , understood and supported.
There is now a huge empty hole in my life.
I´ll miss you every day, everywhere, in everything...
Love you endlessly....
Till we meet again.......

A work colleague from way back. A Comedian, Larrikin and whatever else. Always had a Smile and ready with a "Wise crack". Helped to pass the Night Shifts etc. away. RIP Geoff.

Very sorry to learn of Geoff's passing. Darts at Stewart's with DC and the gang after work on a Wednesday afternoon was always colorful with Geoff. He was well liked and respected. He supported my business with his knowledge in security for which I'm always grateful. You left too soon Geoff, set em up and get them in on the other side mate.

I was shocked and deeply saddened by the news of Geoff's passing. We had been good friends for well over 40 years since meeting as work colleagues. We had been in regular, almost daily contact in recent months. I know Geoff was greatly looking forward to some new chapters in his life starting this year. I also know of the love he had for all his family and special friends. The fishing adventures, dart tournaments, and constant fun and laughter that always went with Geoff will live on in my memory. Gone but never forgotten. RIP Meurky.

Reflecting back to the days of Selwyn Ford, Avis, NZ police, Commercial Travellers Club and fishing excursions to Kuratau, Lake Taupo. Always had a joke to share.!
