Tragically taken from us on Friday, April 10, 2026, aged 44 years. Dearly loved father of Nicolette. Beloved son of Rex and the late Lesley. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Debra and Mathew, and Craig and Deanna. Loved uncle of Ethan and Riley, Brearna and Lorenzo. All messages to the Brown family, C/- 191 North Street, Feilding. A service for family, friends, and colleagues of Greg will be held in the Feilding Funeral Chapel, 282 Kimbolton Road, Feilding, on Monday 20 April 2026 at 11.00am, followed by private burial.

On behalf of the Manawatu Branch of NZ Deerstalkers Association I would like to express my condolences to Greg's family and friends. I was one of the instructors on the hunting course that Greg attended seceral years ago. I was also staying at Alice Nash hut on Wednesday evening and spoke with Greg about his plans for Thursday morning. I was shocked and saddened to hear of the incident that has tragically taken his life.
