Sincere condolences to all the family of Jody. News of his death has come as a shock. So young, so vigorous and so helpful. Always a cheery presence and of course so knowledgeable about things electronic. I first knew Jody though the magic he performed on my dormant gadgets. In recent years Andrew Young Street became a regular stop during trips to town and our technology was always the better for it. So when he asked me to try painting his beloved stock cars in action, I was happy to take up the challenge
and he seemed pleased with the outcome. We are so shocked to hear of his death and send you all, his family, our deepest sympathy. Deric Charlton

I, felt to say all the more of my Dad telling me about,...in the days of a Leo Hodge electrical store in Fitzherbet Avenue, & then at sometime, Roger & Jody used to help Leo Hodge out the back, in the shop,...in the 70.s, & wen Leo Hodge retired Mr. MARTIN & son took it over,...my Dad told all of my family, to always get electrical appliances fixed @ Leo Hodges store,...& then after became Martins electrical, it wasn't too long ago that Dear Jody fixed my vacumcleaner for about the 2nd or 3rd time,...a wonderful person was Jody, & his Dad Roger,...I'm in tears over this right now & writing the first condolences,...& not long ago just mentioning of Martins Electrical repairs store to my eldest brother,...we all who have had Jody repair all our electrical things,...it's gona be hard to go in the store now,...from me to you Angela,...of our (namesake) Angela Day.

I'm very sad to have only just found out about Jody's passing, a very muched loved person who served me many a time @ Martins electrical,...I will sadly mis him deeply, as a customer of this service,...my deepest sympathy to his family .

So sad to hear the news. Lovely to deal with and nothing was ever a problem for both Jody and Roger. Know he will be sadly missed

RIP my old friend from the days of Takaro primary. I will forever remember Saturday morning sports of cricket in the summer and soccer in the winter. Rest well buddy

Dear Angela, Brooke, and Roger,
I was so sorry to hear about Jody´s passing. Please know that my heart is with you during this incredibly difficult time.
I can only imagine how deeply he´ll be missed by all of you.
In his memory, I´ve had two trees planted in his name. I hope they serve as a small, living tribute to the life he led and the love he gave.

So sorry to hear the news. Although I hadn't seen Jody in over 25 years, he grew up across the road from my family in Glasgow Street and later on I managed to play a few games of soccer in the same team at Takaro and our group had a few fun times including going to Fiji with him. Taken way way too soon but family should be so proud of him and who he was.

Very sad news indeed. Jody was 2 weeks younger than I and pipped me for being the youngest in our year at primary school. We went through Takaro School together between 1979 and 1984. He was always an energetic and cheerful kid. One of those guys you enjoyed spending time with. Also a fantastic soccer player with quick feet as I can attest over several years of playing both with and against him.

Great memories of being shuttled to play cricket at Ongley Park early on a Saturday morning by Roger in that super uncomfortable Ford Escort van. We would spend a few minutes nursing a sore bum after getting out of that tin can on wheels.

Jody let me copy about 200 Commodore 64 games off his computer contributing to likely our mutual, somewhat misspent youth.

My condolences go out to his family and all those who knew him. Gone too soon.

Always a caring man. The happiest disposition, iI would always take me electrical cords for him to fix and im sure when he saw me he would know iI sliced the cord of my tree trimmer again. Nothing was a problem to him and had many laughs. . I know he was your rock Amgela so I am sending my love and thoughts to you and the entire family for the loss of a lovely family man. So sad for you all. So young. RIP Jody.

Jody was an excellent golfer,an absolute joy to play with ,his ability and super personality immediately won a place in your heart that will always remain
