Keith ANDREW Obituary

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, aged 62 years, at Palmerston North Hospital after a short and courageous battle with cancer. Dearly loved son of the late Ngaere and Kerry (Turk) Andrew, and loved brother of John, Ellen, Maree and Steven (Stumpy). Loved brother-in-law to Sue, Neil and Alan. Loved uncle of Will and Harry, Katie and Ben and Ben and Tabitha. Great-Uncle to Jock. Our heartfelt thanks also go to nurse Kirsten Oliver and Danny's ACC case manager Katie Warren for all their care and attention provided to Danny for many years. Thanks also to the Palmerston North Hospital staff and medical team who provided such compassionate care to Danny in his final days. A very special friend to many and a good mate to all. Danny will be greatly missed. All messages to the Andrew family, C/- 167 John F Kennedy Drive, Palmerston North 4414. A memorial service for Danny will be held at the Bunnythorpe Rugby Club at a later date. In accordance with Danny's wishes, a private cremation has already taken place.

Sad to hear of the passing of a old friend. Remember Keith as a hard rugby player back in the days. You might be friends in life but the paddock was a war zone when we played against each other and the club rooms were peace time. Fly high mate.

This is very sad news, Danny was one of the most courageous people I have known. His passing is a huge loss to Manawatu club rugby and Bunnythorpe RC in particular. Rest in peace Bandit.
