10-23-2023. Today, I was shocked & saddened to learn of Richard's passing in January. My caring thoughts to Clare, sons, Rohan & Euan, sister Fiona, BIL Terry & children. He so loved his family and his farms. It was a true pleasure to meet him, Clare & their sons some time ago. Dearly loved by his parents Joan & Eric. God speed Richard. May peace be with you.

I was sorry to read about the death of Richard in the February issue of the Police News magazine. Richard and I were in the same section class at police college in 2000, had rooms opposite each other in the same barracks floor and often used to run together at night. I hadn't seen o since graduation in June 2000 but remember him as a good honest hard working perosn and running partner.
