To Karen , I was very sorry to learn of Russell's passing. We were class mates at Palmy Boys and shared some good times. I remember working with you at Fairbairn Wright before you left to go to Hales Walker. I followed not long after to what was the H F Stevens(Wgtn)Ltd

To Karen and Family. It is with a heavy heart and a degree of sadness that I write this note. Rusty and I go back to an enjoyable childhood starting out in life at West End Primary School. Just as we were about to enjoy our twilight years at Foxton Beach I have been robbed of a lifetime friend. One thing is for sure Karen Rusty was too dearly loved by everyone ever to be forgotten. We have fond memories of Rusty through our Manawatu Rugby Referees days in the 80s and 90s- he always had a smile and a joke to tell.
