Very shocked & saddened to see this notice when browsing the Marlborough Express. Our sincere sympathies go out to Christine, Jill, David and all of their families. It was therefore so special calling in to see him on the way back to Papamoa from a visit to Paraparaumu in late January. Whilst he´d aged a bit from a few years earlier, he appeared well & happy! Funnily enough he mentioned how the Kuripuni Tav was close by to their new home! `Easy walking distance´ he said. John and Lorraine Wratt, cousin.

Hello Christine. I saw your husbands notice in the Timesage. You were married for 45 years. I know something of what you are going through and will pray. Bernie and I were married for 40 years. Grief can't be hurried . The Lord will bring you through, in time, and trusting God there will be brighter days ahead but there is no hurry. Take your time and just do the next thing. Jesus' hold on you is strong and He will not let you go, dear one. Much love to you.
