We were so very sad to hear of Valerie's passing. Valerie was a good friend of ours growing up in Blenheim & our school days at St Mary's of which we have many fond memories including our netball days.
Our love & thoughts are with all the family at this very sad time.
RIP Valerie

I vividly remember Valerie, a beautiful, happy person, as one of my sister´s (Cushla Murphy, dec) best friends from St Mary´s High School days.
Val had a dynamic personality and brought every room alive with her laughter and outrageous sense of fun. I remember their plotting and scheming and good humoured mischief on their journey from schoolgirls to young women.
Rest in Peace Valerie.
My sincere condolences to all of Valerie´s family.
