As I read of Brian´s passing I didn´t know him well as I also grew up in Richmond, but I was saddened to see Noeline had passed. Noeline was in our Netball team called Nelmea- half Nel college girls & half Waimea girls. Noeline was an amazing centre & we had bright yellow tunics which we all made ourselves at the time, which stood out & we played every sat at the Para Para rd courts. She was a real live wire.a pleasure to play with.
Over the years I always wondered where Noeline had moved to & as I have relocated back to Richmond she had crossed my mind. A wonderful lady she was.
I thought her children may like to know of this little bit of her life.
My condolences on the passing of your father Brian as I think he also went to Richmond School.
Kind regards

Our sympathy goes out to the Harford Family. I lived at Tapawera in the 50's and knew all the boys. Also I am a member of the Field Family whose farm Brian had in Rockville.
