Edward TURKINGTON Obituary

TURKINGTON, Edward James. Passed away unexpectedly on 26 March 2026 at 85 years old. Much loved Dad of David, Karyn, Paul and Madison, father-in-law of Sophie, Hans, Charlotte and Christian. Loved Grandad of Sarah, Benjamin, Harry, Dylan and Frida. Brother of Kerry and John. A service for Eddie's life will be held at 12:30pm on Monday, 6 April 2026 at St Mary's Church, 117 Onewa Road, Northcote.

I was stunned and saddened to hear about Eddie. I enjoyed the time spent with him at St Vincent de Paul, at our local football club, and of course after Sunday Mass we´d have a quick catch-up on football again in the carpark. He was a wonderful and caring person and will be sadly missed. Much love to his family, who he spoke about often, a proud father and grandfather. May he rest in peace. Arohanui, Mel and the O´Leary whanau.
