CLAFFEY, Joseph Martin. Passed away peacefully at Middlemore Hospital on Monday 30 March 2026. Beloved 2nd son of Tom and May Claffey (both deceased), brother of Domnic (deceased), Kay, Margaret, Thomas, Sarah, Val, Mary, Eddie (deceased), Michael, and their respective families. Dearly loved Uncle Joe to his many nieces and nephews, will be sadly missed and never forgotten. A service to honour and celebrate Joe's life will be held in The North Harbour Chapel of Dil's Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany, on Thursday 2 April at 10.00 am, followed by a private burial.

To our brother Joseph, (jock) we are still processing the sudden death of our beloved brother. We hope that you´re now in the best place, with mum,dad, moosey and Eddie. As hard as it was to let you go we know it was the best for you under the circumstances. May you rest in peace and love now. Until we meet again love frm all your crazy sisters xx

Well it´s was a long 16 days brother waiting for you to finally let go im happy that you´re finally with mum dad & your brothers. Will miss seeing you every weekend at the rest home with your sister mags . A sad day for all of your family saying goodbye but your memories will always be with us.
