Dear Elizabeth, Rebecca and William. I am so sorry to hear of your mum's death. I did not realise that she was ill after we both stopped going to book club at Manurewa Library, about a year ago. My condolences to you all and your children. Pauline once did me a huge favour in June 1977, when I gave birth to undiagnosed twin boys in
Middlemore . Pauline came on duty for the weekend shift when the boys were about 3 days old. I was in shock and one baby would not feed. Pauline took command, put me in a private room, allocated a nurse to help me at every feed, explained that the babies needed 3 hrly feeds etc etc. I shall always remember Pauline 's kindness and authority to give me confidence that I could manage.
Thanks for sharing your Mum .

Elizabeth, Rebecca and William. So sorry to hear of your mum's passing. Fond memories of you all going back to our fabulous Weymouth days in the 1970s and 80s. After we moved from Weymouth, we never saw so much of Pauline but would bump in to her from time to time at Muffin Break? at Manukau.
Our deepest condolences.

I remember working with Pauline. A wonderful caring professional midwife.

I was very saddened to hear of Pauline´s passing. She was such a constant, lifelong friend to my parents, and she and Bill were always such a lovely presence when they visited our family farm.
One of my fondest and most recent memories is seeing some of Paulines travel slides from her younger years. Images of her in Afghanistan and other far-flung places showed me a side of her I hadn´t known, and I remember being struck by her quiet courage and curiosity about the world. That adventurous side felt so true to the warmth and openness she carried as I knew her.
To the family, please know I´m holding you in my thoughts.

I was very saddened to hear of Pauline´s passing. She was such a constant, lifelong friend to my parents Gwen and Kevin, and she and Bill were always a lovely presence when they visited our family farm.
One of my fondest and most recent memories is seeing some of her travel slides from her younger years. Images of her in far-flung places that weren´t easy to travel through. It was a side of her I hadn´t known, and I remember being struck by her quiet courage and curiosity about the world. That adventurous spark felt so true to the warmth and openness I saw in her.
My condolences to the family. Please know I´m holding you in my thoughts.

Hey guys, thinking of you at this time. Plenty of great memories growing up with visits from the Bradenton-Browns visiting the country bumpkins in Hawke´s Bay. Bill with his stories of growing up in the Isle of Man and Pauline keeping him in check. David and Kiri Kirk and family.
