Robert WADMORE Obituary

WADMORE, Robert Stanley (Bob) Passed away unexpectedly at Waikato Hospital on Wednesday, 21 January 2026, after a very brief illness. Aged 86 years. A loving, caring and devoted man. Dearly loved husband of Joan. Much loved father and father-in-law of Robert and Fiona, Robin and Jo, the late Philip, and Mark. Treasured Grandad to David, Hayley, Jaymie, Kendall, and Charlie, and proud Great-Grandad to Romeo and Louis. In accordance with Bob's wishes, a private farewell will be held. Messages to the Wadmore family may be sent c/- 262 Ohaupo Road, Te Awamutu 3800, or shared in Bob's online tribute book at www.rosetown.co.nz

Well big brother it was finally your time to leave. I am so sad I did not get to see you one more time but you were on the other side of the world. I have amazing memories of our childhood together when you used to play tricks on me and when mum forced you to take out your little sister. I usually ended up falling in the water, or cutting my head open and you would bring me back on the handlebars of your bike. I hope you are at peace now and, perhaps, having a pint and sharing the microphone with dad. I miss you so much. Condolences to my lovely sister in law Joan and Rob, Robin and the rest of the Wadmore family. Lots of love to you all xxx Mavis
