Norman SLOPER Obituary

SLOPER, Norman Clifford. On Monday, January 26, 2026, peacefully at Charles Upham Retirement Village in Rangiora, aged 92 years. Loved husband of the late Patricia for 48 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Michael and Raylene, David and Christine, and Andrew and Despina, a wonderful grandfather and great- grandfather. Loved husband of Sylvia and stepfather of Stella, Sylvie and Melissa and their families for 19 years. Sincere thanks to the staff of Charles Upham Retirement Village and Christchurch Hospital for their care and support of Norman. A service to celebrate Norm's life will be held at Wai-mana, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora, on Saturday, January 31, at 10:30am. We're all very sorry to hear this news. It was our pleasure to see Norman regularly before he moved to Rangiora and everyone enjoyed their chats and time with him. Such a lovely man that will be missed. RIP Norman.
