Christine GEAR Obituary

After a short illness, Christine passed away at home surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. Cherished wife of the late Peter Gear. Dearly loved and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Angela and Ryan, and Melanie and Ary. Adored and precious Nana of Jak, Charlie, and Blake; and Annabella. Treasured and dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of Susan and Stephen, Kenny and Petrina, Ross; and Sharon, Kris, Karen, and Rob. Loved step-mum of Shaun and Sophie, David and Marcela, Nicola and John, and special friend to Natalie. Loved Nanny Christine of Tyler, Yolanda, Marley, Sadie, Aimee, Jessica and Alex. Loved Aunty of all her nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Southland would be greatly appreciated and can be left at the service. A Celebration of Christine's life will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023, 1.30pm, in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill. Committal at Southland Crematorium will follow.
