Janice BUTLER Obituary

Passed away unexpectedly at her home in Greymouth, on March 16, 2024, aged 73. Deeply loved wife of the late Wayne, dearly loved mum and mother-in-law of Stephen (Balfour), Grant and Amanda (Perth), and Nathan and Rachel (Waikouaiti), loved Nana of Aroha, Stevie, Jake, Grace, Molly, and Jacob; Ella, and Samuel; and Caihro, loved daughter of the late Gordon and Una Cook, loved sister and sister-in-law of Ann Taylor, Gavin and Carol Cook, and the late Chris Cook, loved sister-in-law of Pat and the late Ron Butler, and the late Keith Butler, a loved aunty, cousin and friend. Messages to 2 Seddon Street, Waikouaiti 9510. A private funeral service to celebrate Jan's life has been held followed by cremation on the Coast at the Westland Crematorium. Jan's ashes will be interred with her late husband Wayne in the Eastern Cemetery, Invercargill at a private graveside service. The family warmly invite friends to a farewell gathering to remember Jan at the Northern Tavern on Monday, March 25, at 3.00pm.
