On June 6, 2022, peacefully at Rowena Jackson, in his 91st year. Dearly loved husband and best friend for over 69 years of Joyce. Loved father and father-in-law of Barry and Yvonne, Christine and Tony Deans, Joanne and Marc Steer. Cherished Grandad of Matthew, Aimee; Daniel and Marie, Aaron and Ash; Tom and the late Shane. Great-Grandad of Kip, Makoi and Onyx. Respected brother and brother-in-law of Margaret* and Jack* Barker, Norma* and Ian* Robb, Ronnie and Norma Wells, and Betty Gauldie. A service to celebrate Ron's life will be held at J Fraser and Sons' Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Sts, Invercargill, on Friday, June 10 at 1.30pm, followed by private cremation.
