Alan BATTEN Obituary

Dad passed away peacefully at Ryman Healthcare, Gisborne, on 28 March, 2026; aged 87 years. Much loved husband of the late Emmy. Cherished youngest son of Dick and Ina Batten (both deceased). Adored brother and brother-in-law of Ron (deceased) and Zeny, Eric (deceased) and Marlene, and Wyn and Bruce McCullough, and a loved, fun uncle to all their families. Beloved father and father-in-law, of Vianca, Paul (deceased) and Sharyn, Dean and Bron, Jodie and Jason. Loved Granddad to Eli, William, Daniel, Isla and Keira, and Great-Granddad to Leo. Alan has been cremated and a service will be held in New Plymouth at a later date, when he will be laid to rest with family who have passed. Details will be advised in due course. We are so grateful for the time we had with you, Dad, and we will "keep up the good work."
