Andrew William "Andy, Egg, Mr. Kiwi" MOORE

Andrew MOORE Obituary

We are sad to share the news that Andrew died in Surrey, UK on Friday 21st March, after a short illness. Almost 57 years lived so fully.

Andy was completely loved by his wife Brigid (Liefting) and adored by his children William, Cosmo and Eva.
Loved son of Jennie and Russell Moore
Fun loving, cherished brother of Aveny and Jim, Sally and Bux, Carla and Deano.
Inspirational, rascally uncle of his many nieces and nephews.

Huge thanks to the beautiful UK friends who have become family.

His legacy is vast:
- Do hard things
- Love and live with passion
- Family is everything
- Friends are everywhere
- Don't be afraid to fly with the eagles

Rest "at pace" dear Andy.
You live on in everyone you have touched.
Everybody has a story about you and if a positive mindset and a will to live was all that was needed, you would be here forever.
Can see you teeing off with Russ - the oysters and whiskey waiting......

Funeral will be livestreamed from Richmond Park, UK at 11am (UK time), 11 pm NZ time, Friday 4th April.

Dear Jennie & Family
So sorry to hear of Andrews passing - If only we could change things!!
A real hard case, always up for a trick or two and definitely a chip of Russ's block, Im sure they will be causing some sort of fun havoc already up there!
I will never forget his phone call to Harcourts one day he said "dont you every come over here you will hate it - its dark when I go to work and its dark when I get home"! I told him he was most definitely right and was nuts and why would he want to leave the land of milk and honey lol
Hold on to those beautiful memories and his antics and love to you all xxxxx

Such sad news to read. Sending love to Brigid and family.

I met Andrew through a friend in Auckland, maybe in 1986ish time.

I then met and flatted with his buddy Deano in Palmy and met his sister Carla.

Andrew was smiley infectious fun! remember our flat 21st in 1988, Andrew drove some largish surfers station wagon over from Taranaki with a car load of people, and captured a sheep along the way. The sheep came to the party, but escaped sometime throughout the night... never to be seen again!

RIP - and make some mischief up there.. sue cooke
Ps wish i could find a photo

To Jennie and the family.
So sad to see that Andrew lost his battle. We have fond memories of the times he was home and we caught up at social events with the Harcourts team! A flamboyant suit is my memory!
May you cherish all your special memories.
Our sincere condolences to you all.

What a legend of a man. So many fond crazy memories from hanging out with egg growing up. Had the privilege of spending time again when I lived in Auckland of pub visits and house renovations and visits to Brigid's family farm. Watching him land on the grass after a water-skiing session at lake Waiwhakaiho. Big hugs and lots of love to brigid and the kids. Chad.

Our deepest sympathy to Jennie and the Moore families. Russ was so very proud of you all but we distinctly remember Russ's extra broad smile every time he was with Andrew. Both gone far too soon but at least they're together. Roland and Linda Lina
