Betty HALL Obituary

Peacefully at Taranaki Base Hospital, on Monday, 25 August 2025, aged 95. Dearly loved wife of the late William. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Alison & Ron. Loved Grandma of Rebecca, and Thomas. In preference to flowers, please consider a donation to the Taranaki SPCA. A service to celebrate Betty's life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 174 Lemon St, New Plymouth, on Wednesday 27 August 2025 at 10.30am, followed by a private cremation.

My amazing neighbour Betty's passions were family, socialising, coffee, Waiheke, gardening, coffee, Andre Rieu concerts and fish n chips for dinner. RIP Betty.

My condolences to Betty's family. Betty was a regular attendee at our Wednesday lunchtime concerts at Whiteley Methodist Centre. We will miss her. I marvelled at her courage to venture to these concerts in spite of her eye-sight limitations and eagerly looked forward to sharing time with her. She shared some of the highlights of her life with us - and was very generous in the donations she gave for the concerts. Wishing all the family strength as you come to accept your loss. May the wonderful memories you have of the times with her, sustain you throughout the coming days, weeks and months. She was greatly loved.
