Geoffrey McELROY Obituary

Peacefully at Maryann Rest Home Stratford on Sunday, April 20, 2025. Aged 69 years. Loved son of Wy (dec) and Mary, loved brother and brother-in-law of John and Laureen, Lindsay and Rhonda, Colleen and Grant Chester. A special thanks to Hospice Taranaki and Maryann Rest Home for their care of Geoff over the last few months. In accordance with Geoff's wishes a private family service has been held.

Sad to hear of Geoff's passing. I have many fond memories from our time at Stratford Press all those years ago and I have often wondered where he got to and up to. Thinking of the family at this sad time. RIP Geoff

Very sad to hear of Geoff's passing
The family regularly had chats with him and it was lovely he came to visit me a few weeks ago...I have many fond memories of him growing up.
