Janet Teresa (nee Duoba) SMYTHE

Janet SMYTHE Obituary

Janet passed away suddenly on Monday 30 October 2023 at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in Brisbane, Australia following a short illness. Wife of Barry, mother of Kimberly Talia, Adam and Lyndsey Letchford. Daughter of Stasys (dec) and Liucija Duoba (Inglewood). Sister and sister-in-law of Stan and Sue Duoba (Inglewood), Vic and Dianne Duoba (Otaki), Vida and Miles Harkness (Inglewood), Christina and Bryan Whittaker (Inglewood), Dennis Duoba (Inglewood), Trish Duoba and Rob (Fitzroy), and Loraine and David Reeve (Inglewood). Janet was a dearly loved daughter, sister, aunty, grandmother, wife and mother. "May she Rest in Eternal Peace."

Barry, Kim, Adam, Lindsey and families and the Duoba family. Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of a special lady. We worked together at ACC and became friends. Janet was such good company and had a great sense of humour, was a tireless worker both for her family and her employers. She has left me with many happy memories.
