Of Paekākāriki. Peacefully at Vincentian Home and Hospital, Berhampore, on 3rd April 2026. Aged 73 years. Loving father of Jessica; Grandfather to Hemi, Dre, and Hoani.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Vincentian Home and Hospital would be appreciated. A service to farewell John will be held at St Peter's Village Hall, Paekākāriki, on 10th April 2026 at 11.00am, to be followed by burial at Whenua Tapu Cemetery.
