My condolences to Les and family ... although I'm only 7 years younger than Marie, it seemed a lot when she came to live with us on Carrington Street, New Plymouth back in the early 70s. Marie taught me how to hang out washing properly, how to iron clothes correctly and how to cook bacon and eggs. I've never forgotten them. All things she learnt from her mum I'm sure...I remember being apart of her wedding day and sneaking off to a local pub with a bunch of the older guests, thinking I was so grown up ... just some memories of Marie ...RIPx

I worked with Marie years ago. She was a great worker, very industrious and very patient working with me. I hadn't seen her for years but remember her fondly.
