I was very sad to hear of Mark's passing, always enjoyed working with Mark, he was a well respected coleague as well as a role model and mentor to the many youth he embraced while living in NP. Sending my condolences to Mara and Mark's extended family xx

Reading this I am saddened to hear of Mark's passing, I think in his true fashion he will be delighted about being with God, but terribly sad to leave his beautiful life and family. I worked with Mark after he came back from Australia where he had been bartering, he decided to sharpen his scissors and did a adult hairdressing apprenticeship. Needless to say his humor, caring nature witty talk placed him in my mind for a long time . Rest easy big guy,you were always a goodie .Michelle Croad.

Mark was a man with the biggest heart, he was kind, humble, and very cool. I worked with Mark when he lived in Taranaki. His kindness toward others was heartwarming. He was one of thw best dressed men I know, and by best dressed I mean the coolest dressed. It's so sad that someone with Mark's big heart has gone it is such a huge loss to his whanau and friends. I feel blessed to have known him. Arohanui to his whanau xxxx
