After a short illness on Friday, 22nd September 2023. Dearly loved husband and best mate of Jan, dearly loved father and father-in-law of Bryan and Brenda, Jill and Andrew Hares, Raewyn and Peter Blair, loved poppa to all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. All messages to the Adams family can be sent C/- PO Box 218, Stratford 4352. In accordance with Ray's wishes a private service has been held.

Dear Jan and Family
Our deepest sympathy and love to you at this very sad time.
We have known Ray and Jan since the late 60's through Representative hockey and umpiring.
Remembering also the times at Hawera for the Technical Old Boys Tournaments when Ray arrived with a pup tent for the family to sleep.
Ray was a good friend with a great personality.

We were very sorry to hear that Ray has passed away. We had dinner with Robin Hayward last week and raised our glasses several times in memory of Ray. We also spent quite a bit of time talking about what a really great guy he was.
