Yesterday

It was a joy to have Sam ring me unexpectedly a few weeks ago. Her positivity and enthusiasm for her singing with others shone through once again. Her love for singing 'The Rose' every week using the microphone in our music classes came flooding back. Just two weeks ago I introduced Sam via messenger to a current special music student and they had the joy of singing to each other over the internet which I know Sam really enjoyed. She was a beautiful person. I can't help but think of her passing from this life into the next that, at last she is free to dance and sing with the heavenly chorus without restriction. God bless you Sam.

Sam - when we think of you , it always puts a smile on our faces. You always brought a lot of colour and positive energy into the classroom, injecting the environment with humour and fun. You were always enthusiastic and willing to give anything a go. One example is wanting to go sailing on the Waitara River. It took us a few attempts but, with a bit of collaboration between us, Sailability and your Mum, we managed to get you out on the waves. We still remember your grin as you came back to shore .... Another of your loves was art and crafts - you were always busy with some project or another and gave us a few head scraping moments. An overwhelming memory is of your kindness , to both animals and people. A sensitive soul who will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time. Lots of love - Gayle Jane and Kath ( Witt tutors). Xxx

To Annette and the family..it was a total pleasure to spend time with Sam at Respite. She was always so positive, fun loving and easy going. We were often
singing, dancing and eating nachos for dinner together. She was also so patient and loving towards the other kids there. I will miss bumping into her on the streets of Stratford. RIP my friend xx

Sam, from making chocolate cupcakes at kindy, with my 2 granddaughter's, then on to become your caregiver for many years from high school, to our never ending friendship to this day. You showed them all, always trying to show us it can be done, & always being the smiling angel with sometimes cheeky comments ... going to miss our almost weekly chats, little lady ... big hugs for a job well done, Annette ... we know how hard this has been, but she showed them ... fly high little lady
