Hello. Brian here. Kathys cousin. I want add deepest condolences for Kathys passing to all of her whanua and friends from myself and Karen and Mark. We have managed to access the recording of her service on line. Its been many years since seeing Kathy but as we were the same age I can remember her well from our childhood. Mainly at Nanas and ,of course, especially the annual Christmas gatherings. Kathy always had that gawky, goofy, lovable look and feel about her.

Shorty. I don't know what to say. I'm absolutely shocked. Azure Cafe last Monday. You always walk in full of laughs. I said here comes trouble. As always full of laughs and jokes and hugs. I always think of the days 35 years ago when we were in home together leading up to birth of our sons Tyran Ngatai and Sam. You were always about family. Going to miss your large as life laughs, smiles and chats. RIP Shorty

It is with great sadness that the Stratford Eltham Rugby Sports Club records the passing of previous committee member Shorty (Katherine) Bishop. Shorty was an avid fan, supporter and sponsor of the rugby & netball club, she would always attend every game (home and away) to watch her sons play. Shorty was previously on our committee for a number of years helping to run the club. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to Graeme and the extended family. All members are requested to wear their club dress shirts to Shorty's funeral service.
