Farewell Albie, a dying breed, a Long Island vegetable farmer, grower of greens. A truck farmer, carting produce to NYC wholesale markets. I'm proud to say we are family members (cousins) of the Schmitt farmers that have began farming in Queens in the 1800s.
My condolences to Dottie Al, Jean, & Jimmy. I witnessed Albie's living his Catholic faith at St.Elizbeths. peace to all. Anthony III
