Barbara BASSETT Obituary

(Formerly of Kaikoura, Amberley, and of late Kauri Lodge, Riccarton). On August 21, 2025, passed peacefully at Burwood Hospital, with family by her side. Dearly loved wife of the late Michael, much-loved mother of Leah, and James, loved mother-in-law of Paul, dearly beloved Granny of Jackson. Special thanks to all the staff at Ward B1, Burwood Hospital, and Kauri Lodge for the wonderful care and compassion shown to Barbara. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Barbara Bassett, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In accordance with Barbara's wishes, a private cremation has taken place.

Dear Leah,James & family. Even though we lost track for a few years, it was lovely to spend time with Barb in the last few weeks. Barb never changed . I can remember the first time Eddie took me to meet Barb & Mike at Kaikoura, fun times wonderful memories..Kay.xxx
