Carolyn SIMPSON Obituary

On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, passed away at home, surrounded by loved ones, aged 63 years. Darling loved wife of Victor, very special Mum of Cullen, and Dylan, daughter of the late Val and Bruce Woodham, loved sister, and sister-in-law of Jude and Kevin, Christine and Cedric, Peter, Rodney and Eve, Lenadene, Pou, Henry and Marion, and John, much loved and precious aunty, great-aunty, and friend to many. Mum of fur-babies Miss Tilly, and Baloo. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Carolyn Simpson, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. Carolyn was the life of the party, who was always late, and lived her life to the fullest. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ronald McDonald House would be appreciated, and may be made online at rmhc.org.nz. The funeral service for Carolyn will be held at Oaklands, corner Halswell Junction, and Wigram Roads, Halswell, on Saturday, October 18, at 10.30am. In honour of Carolyn's zest for life, please wear brightly coloured, or white clothing. Private interment to be held in Gisborne.

So sorry Vic on Carolyn´s passing - she was a Guardian Angel to Gramps & we are very grateful for that. She was a great support for the rest of us and we had a lot of fun when she was around. We have memories of her on our farm riding sidesaddle with Gramps and joining in all the farming activities - we even named a lamb after her - Carolamb. We will always have a smile on our faces when we think of her and the world wont be so sparkly without Carolyn in it.

I remember her mischievous contagious laugh.
