David WHINHAM Obituary

August 28, 1948 - October 17, 2024, aged 76 years. Peacefully passed away at Ashburton Hospital. Much loved husband of the late Heather, much loved father and father-in-law of Katrina and Armand Van-der-Eik, Amanda and Ian Sutcliffe, Hamish and Kris, and Nathan and Kiriana, and much loved Pop of Courtney, Brad, Caylum, and Tayla. Loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Tony, and Lyn Whinham, Peter and Valmai Whinham, and Roger and Pauline Whinham. Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate David's life will be held at the Hotel Ashburton, Racecourse Road, on Friday, October 25, commencing at 1.30pm, followed by interment at the Ashburton New Lawn Cemetery.
