Doreen ALLAN Obituary

6 October 1937 - 21 September 2025

Peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Lady Wigram Village, Christchurch. Beloved wife of Eric James Allan. Much loved mother of Sandra and David Wright (Methven), Stephen and Anita Allan. Devoted grandmother of Angela and Brodie, Stephanie and Fraser, Frederick and Alyse, Billy and Iesha, and Ethan. A lifetime partner, mother, grandmother, aunty and friend who has left a large void in our hearts but many happy and treasured memories. Rest in peace; you are much loved. The family would like to thank the staff at Lady Wigram Village who cared for mum with love and respect over the last few months. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hato Hone St John would be appreciated and may be made at the service. The funeral service for Doreen will be held at Hope Presbyterian Church, 27 Amyes Road, Hornby, on Thursday, September 25 at 10.30am. A private cremation and interment to follow.
