Douglas Allan (Doug):
On December 13, 2022, peacefully at home, after a year's journey with cancer; aged 69 years. Dearly loved husband of Odette for 47 years, very much loved father and father-in-law of Anneke and Oliver, Safia and Donal, Malaika, and Chloe, and an adored Grandad Dougie of Adeline and Alfred. Loved brother of Gordon, Gillian and Susan, son-in-law of Wim, and brother-in-law, uncle and cousin to many. Very special thanks to all who have cared for Doug over the past year. Hi Odette, So sorry to hear that Doug has passed away recently. I am currently travelling south in the South Island with a view to catching up after so long - Turangi days. I will always remember travelling to Turangi yacht club on sailing days in the little Fiat Bambina held together with Meccano bits. Currently in Waimate, heading south. Would love to catch up. Steve

Sorry we cant be there today but are viewing it online.

I have many fond memories of Doug especially welcoming our family to NZ and from Doug's university days and how much could fit in a Fiat Bambina and for his engineering expertise. I also remember when Doug worked at GMs and the funny stories about his time there.
