Dwayne Miller Obituary
Dwayne Allan Miller, age 63, of Erwin, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at his home. A native of Kansas City, MO, Dwayne is a son of Douglas Alvin Miller and Connie (Lewis) Ingram. He was a long-time resident of Unicoi County and a graduate of Unicoi County High School. Dwayne was employed by CSX Transportation as an Engineer. He was a food enthusiast who enjoyed spending time feeding friends and family. Dwayne was a committed family man and a father figure to many. Dwayne always said his greatest achievement was his children and grandchildren. His selflessness and generosity were evident to all who knew him. His loss will always be deeply felt, and he will always be missed. He is preceded in death by his stepmother, Gail Webb Miller. In addition to his parents, Dwayne Allan Miller has left behind to cherish his memory: his loving wife of 40 years, Carol Miller; son, Dylan Miller (Erin); daughter, Alexandra "Lexi" Britt (Tyler); grandchildren: Tucker Miller and Tanner Miller; siblings: Kim Storey (Richard), Steve Miller, Tonya Davis, Shawn Ingram, Robbie Ingram; and several beloved nieces and nephews. The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Dwayne Allan Miller in a memorial service to be held on Sunday, August 24, 2025, in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home. Reverend Lloyd Jones will officiate. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 1:00 pm on Sunday, August 24, 2025, and will continue until service time at Valley Funeral Home.
